Our process Our Strength

At Herb Artizan, our work begins with a simple question: how do we handle herbs in a way that respects the plant and improves the final product?
We try to study each botanical closely, how it grows, how it behaves during processing, and what determines its quality.
We are not the largest supplier, and we do not aim to be the cheapest. What we aim for is reliability. Our team has spent decades learning how to bring herbs to pharmacopeia standards while preserving their natural character.
Much of our work is problem-solving: understanding raw materials, testing different approaches, and refining processes so that herbs have added value and remain fair to the people who grow them.
Our Three Pillars
Built on fair partnerships that support farmers and communities we all depend on.
Processed to meet pharmacopeia standards for safety, identity, and consistency.
Our Founder’s Perspective

We exist for what endures: fertile soil, honest partnerships, and herbs that heal in every sense of the word. The rest, the certifications, standards, and systems, are just ways to stay true to that purpose.

Herb Artizan
We specialize in 13 botanicals each studied in detail. We try to optimize each process from the farm to the microbial reduction step for each of them.
Offer whatever is available in bulk.
Source random herbs without process control or consistency.
Farmer Support Team
20 field reps + 3 agronomists support our partner farmers year-round. Quality starts at the source.
No direct farmer engagement.
Rely on brokers or traders to manage farms.
Traceability
For most herbs every lot is traceable back to the farm. Our Customer Dashboard shows your herb's journey through our facility.
Limited documentation.
Rarely provide full traceability or sourcing transparency.
In-House Testing
Herbs tested in our ISO-17025 accredited lab at raw material, in-process, and final stages. We test every lot and use this data to optimize our process.
Depend on external labs with delayed results.
Test selectively, often post-export.
Process Optimization
Each botanical has its own validated process from washing to fiber extraction ensuring pharmacopeia quality consistency.
One-size fits all processing.
Lack technical capability to tailor processes.
